We have the privilege and the responsibility to protect five endemic species: Multicolor Tanager, Purplish-mantled Tanager, Chestnut Wood-Quail, Cloud-forest Pygmy Owl, Yellow-headed Manakin.

Additionally, we have other spectacular birds such as the Crested and the Golden-headed Quetzals, Rufous-crested Tanager, Golden-nape Tanager, Saffron-crowned Tanager, Red-headed Barbet, Scaled Fruiteater, Crimson rumped and Emerald Toucanet, Sickle-winged Guan, Chesnut-breasted Wren, Uniform Antshrike.
